replacement derailleur anchor bolt?

It seems the bolt end of my deore rear mech is ruined..

any ideas where i might get a suitable replacement tomorrow in the shops?
Maybe i could bodge it with a bolt and nut from homebase lol

Is it from a DX mech?

Most of the time these kind of fixings are quite unique to model and fit just right. I would ask about for one robbed from the same mech(tell us which) somebody must have a battered one.

I have used a M5 x 10 stainless domehead bolt before, you just need to use an allen key in the bolt when you start tightening, just until it bites
