RC130, did they come in multiple sizes? Pace Portfolio 1992 states they are 23" so at least 58cm...
I bought mine on here a decade ago, can't remember who from but they were off his wife's bike, so I'd sort of presumed they'd had an easy life (if it was a leisurely ride bike). I never measured them, but I dug out my long lost 2011 project recently and they are 540mm! They don't look cut either as ends are anodised and tidy, plus weight seems to be 127g.
Reading the Portfolio I probably shouldn't have the bar ends mounted either without their plugs.
"For those wanting to run clamp-on bar ends, the SUB-130 is suppied with individially CNC machined inserts which guarantee performance and seal the bar."
Before I'd read this I was considering some Controltech bar extenders, Thinking the 20mm of extender would sit under the 30mm clamp of the bar ends with 10mm on the end of the actual bar making a strong sandwich... This would be fine right?
https://www.controltechbikes.com/products/itemlist/category/122.htmlAlso how strong are these after 29 years?
Cheers
Ignore the tyre BTW eagle eyed was just a park test ride.
