Remade decals transfers or stickers?

I have just bought a NOS set of transfers for an early Raleigh Sport which I could not find on any of the usual websites that advertise replacement decals and thought before using them I would have some extras made using them as a sample. My question is do restorers prefer the original transfers or arguably easier to use stickers? I would of thought transfers for originality but would like to hear the opinion of others and any recommended companies that can do this in the UK.

I would always prefer transfers over stickers, but a few words of caution; old water slide transfers have a limited shelf life and can just disintegrate on application. So at least get them properly scanned before you use them.
Also be careful who you get to reproduce them, as this can be done quite cheaply with a half descent household printer and transfer film bought on the internet, this stuff is great for modelmaking but the colours won’t be UV stable and will fade/bleach in only a few years.
