Ok, this is a bit ridiculous. I lived in a city and have had at least 20 bicycles stolen. Sometimes I wondered where they all went. Into the canals, evidently.

Ok, this is a bit ridiculous. I lived in a city and have had at least 20 bicycles stolen. Sometimes I wondered where they all went. Into the canals, evidently.

I have only had one or two bicycles stolen but it scarred me for life. I'm thinking of putting GPS thingymajigs into the seat tube should it ever happen. But I rarely leave my bikes unattended, if I go to shops, I usually have my better half waiting by the bikes or the other way around.

I found it strangely traumatic. Certainly the first few, they were nice bicycles.
