Sold Record 10 Speed Groupset (mostly with some lightweight specials)

Campagman

Dirt Disciple
Record Group Set (mostly)
Campagnolo Record 10 Speed Carbon,

All very good condition, cleaned ready to use. All items were stripped off an Orbea by LBS as the owner wanted to upgrade to 12 speed, partly as the he thought the brakes were poor…..but it transpired that the cable and inners were mixed up so the Campag brake cable was running in a gear outer, so cable was far too tight in the outer. Anyway, upgrade done and some reading up actually suggests the brakes are/should be very good, they are light at around 115 grams as photographed and are very stiff

All prices are open to near offers and include UK postage, payment via Paypal

SOLD - Brakes - M5 Ligfietsen - Ultralight Road Bike Brake Calipers £120 £100
Listed at $400 back in mid 2000’s

From web site http://www.m5-ligfietsen.nl/site/EN/_m5__Lightweight_bike_parts/M5-side-pull-brake/
‘These calipers are not only one of the lightest brakes on the planet, they are extremely stiff, their unique ‘Powerarch’ design achieving pulling forces in excess of 130 kilograms, ultimately destroyed the brake cables before the caliper showed signs of flex (It is only humanly possible to achieve 45 kilogram pulling force, with the wheel stopped well before this point). This not only translates in to awesome stopping performance, but great modulation, as it’s the rider deciding the baking force, not the bike.

Another unique feature of RBC-150 brakes is their 12mm hollow mounting axle with four bushings, resulting in a much larger contact area, rigidity & fore-aft stiffness (less squeal or judder!). Independent tests by Holland Engineering Consultants also proved that the axial stiffness of these brakes (the stiffness directed to the rim while pulling the brake) was 4 to 6 times! Higher than Shimano 105, Dura-Ace and Campagnolo Record calipers.

RBC-150 brakes are front & rear specific with specific length and angle cable support arms, balancing braking pressure front to rear, and also to position the rear brake cable closer to the frame and away from the riders leg. Both calipers feature 43 - 50 mm pad height adjustment and are compatible with the latest wide aero rims.

All mounting & fixing hardware is titanium & aluminium, the cable held in place by means of two small M5 grub screws. The brake spring is made of stainless steel and the brake itself has a beautiful hard anodized finish with laser etch graphics. RBC-150 brakes are also supplied with the worlds lightest ‘space-frame’ design CNC machined 7075-T6 aluminium billet brake shoes, designed to conduct heat away from the brake surface & reduce brake fade.’
