rear wheel

Retro Newbie
picked up my old klein pulse comp months ago and it's been stuck in the shed ever since.

problem: buckled back wheel. (should never have sold it to my fat mate back in the day).

v brakes obviously. Manchester area, or thereabouts, much cheapness but a solid wheel required.

:P

what model is it, ocr wcs?

is it on a ritchey hub?

I don't have any grease, would flora do the trick?

I have a hub that works already, and a cassette, so I suppose I could rebuild it on that if if came to it. Never done it before though.

anyone got a tyre while I'm at it?

Good point. It may pee you off even further to learn that it's actually an 8 speed hub.

I just assumed that with the bike being old it'd be 7 speed, don't know why - I'm bloody clueless.

Sorry for wasting your time mate.
