Here is my old 1985 vintage Ofmega mech on my 1968 Carlton Corsa, bought this new and its never failed...

Ofmega? It says Shimano on the mech.

Indeed, I bought years ago it as part of a group set, Ofmega but always think of it as that, yes it is Shimano!
