i know absolutely nothing about rear shocks so can anyone tell me what upgraded shocks are available that would fit an amp B3 frame :? cause the spring thats on it reminds me of an activator
B3's used a shorter shock body, and Risse still do the shocks for these. B2's & Amplifiers had a different set up. You can get Risse's still and although rare as hens teeth Noleen used to do one to fit the early frames.
Personally, i think the coolest set up is the original shock with a Ti spring.
I tried both on mine and the Risse is sooo much better if its a rider. Coil over is more period and with Ti spring would be super cool. Depends what its going to do, I'd go for the Risse again personally.
Dont worry if you find a knackered one as for about £30 all in (including getting it to and from the States) Kevin Risse will completely overhaul it for you. their customer service is awesome - especially considering I sent them a 13 year old shock!
