RC200 Seat Tube measurement (external for front mech)

Been checking my seat tube measurement on my Pace in view of swapping the front mech and it seems to be 32.4/32.6 on my verniers, can another Pace owner give me a reality check please???

I've got an RC200 F6...


(my verniers DO work cos I just checked a couple of seatposts)

Hi Neill,
The front mech size on the rc200 is 31.9mm if my memory serves me right.
The seat post is 29.4mm.

It's just confused me

I measured a 30.4 seat post I had laying around with my verniers (to see if they were working properly) then measured my seat tube and it was as above (not 31.9)....i'll have to look again when I have more time (and check the seatpost in it...)

having stripped my 200f8 recently, I noticed the diameter marking on my front mech and thought "that might come in handy". it was 31.something.... XTR FD952 31.8 I believe, but as I have read 31.9 on a couple of posts I'm now not so sure

Might wander off to the shed later to check... unless the killer gnats are out in force again tonight.

EDIT: just checked it is 31.8 woohoo I'm not going senile just yet
