i rode one of these at a test day years ago with the raleigh boys, matt farmer etc, they were pretty good, 6" rear end, must be a respray though coz the dh version like this had flames airbrushed on it, one of the cooler bikes they ever did, they ran pro deluxe rear shocks.

The approach to that rear end is pretty "low tech" though. How on earth can you get progression over 6 inches with that set up. Imagine the feel of the thing on both the compression & rebound strokes.

It's the tech equivalent of a "Mad Pad" (Tm?)

especially with that Fox 'Old shoe lace' RC shock on the back (one level down from the Vanilla RC I believe)

Boot laces are an alternative to the shoe, but still pretty shabby none the less.
