Hi everyone. I won this Bike at a local auction. I love these bikes, but this frame is a tad too small for me. it's only problem is laquer peel, but the frame is sound otherwise. Would anyone have a smaller one they'd be interested in trading with me. Long shot, but I thought I'd ask

I got her home and did a week bit of maintainence. Great bike to ride. Just is a little stretched out for me. Very interested to know if anyone has a smaller frame. thanks.

Nice bike, I had one in the mid 90's. It would have been same size as the one in the photo.
Rode it everywhere in Sheffield, up and down the hills ! The only thing I didn't like too much were the really straight handlebars on this bike, other than that very capable.

Thank you. Yes, it rides great. I can see what you mean about the bars. Feels very drirect or something. Are the bars ti on these?

Not that I know, they were the same colour as the main tubes on the frame which meant that you'd get some peeling off but looked after.
Iam pretty sure the handlebars were just standard chromoly steel. Nothing too special.
The rest of the bike was kitted out with dark chrome STX groupset, Not STX RC, though. It was decent performance and functional.
I'm glad to have owned it but ended up selling on to fund the purchase of something else.
