Original Deore group set with thumbies
Farmer John and nephew tyres
Recent e bay purchase. Been garaged 20 years I'm told
Just gave frame a t cut and polish.
Rides spot on.

Yes think these where a pre cursor to the Dyna tech range
Couldn't believe the condition it was in
I just got on and rode it for 4 miles
Without any adjustments the gears changed faultless the thumbies
Are better than my modern shifters !
Will give it a spin off road at weekend

Took Raleigh off road this morning. Handles really well
Forgot how scary cantis are in the wet though !
Tyres held up well in mud
Probably first time it's Been used for purpose

I was out riding with a friend and he has a Technum chill as well - the silver tubes with the blue lugs version. Nice bike - beautiful fork. He paid $25 at a yard sale for his. It looks a bit more scratched up than yours, but road nicely.
