I have a 84 Raleigh Road Ace and it has the shimano 600AX dyna drive pedals, do anyone know where I can get the Adaptors to fit standard Pedals? or who would/could make them for me, much appreciate any help

My Raleigh Road Ace

Here some pictures of the Bike, Thought someone might like to see it, It's really very close to Mint condition , may be just some of the smallest scuff marks here and there on the who of the Bike. The shimano 600ax group is near mint also, , I got the Bike from a chap named Hilary stone here in Bristol, he seems to be a good person to deal with, and he is not frightened to do a deal either, saved me quite a bit of Money on this bike,
Just out of interest, I have had some thoughts of selling the Group set, (minus) the wheels/hubs and the Head Set maybe PM if interested with offers
Have a look see what you think

thats one very pretty bike :).. :) i like a lot.. interesting bar wrap tho?...

I know yes, dodgy Bar wrap, I do have some nice leather stuff somwhere, I may put it on.

I'm a big fan of these and that looks very complete, including the cable grip.

It would be a shame to split the groupset, the adaptors are available, one of our dutch members has some. Put up a want advert.

If it came to selling, the 600 does not make anywhere neat Dura Ace prices.

Very nice,

though I cannot understand why you are talking about splitting the bike - what's the point in buying an unique original and then...words fail me!

Your bike.

I don't want to split the bike really, but I did not foresee how hard it was going to be to get hold of the Adaptors for the pedals, been a right pain! I don't want to ride the bike with the existing pedals, I don't like that sort of pedal, If I put a different crank set on the Bike it is no longer a unique original classic Raleigh,
But now I have a couple of leads as to getting hold of these adaptors, I have my fingers crossed.

Thanks
I will put up a want advert
Is there anyone can point me to the Dutch member who has the Adaptors so I can send him a PM or something

Thanks

I have been ponder this, so I had a look around the Internet and other places, You would be very very hard pressed to find dura ace components in this condition, if they did come up for sale, they would be of such Scandalous asking Prices, and from what I gather with Dura Ace and 600AX there is No difference in quality? is there?

By the looks of the few parts that I have both, the only difference is the finish. On the DA there are extras to the set aswell, for instance the brake bolts have little caps
