Raleigh record sprint sxc confusion

Hi, info needed please, all the pictures of the record sprint sxc I have seen have the brake cable running on top of the top tube, mine runs internal so just wondering if year or model makes this different,

Yours was a late model record sprint with internal cabling, last of the line in think before the model was discontinued.
