Raleigh Quasar

Hi All,
Time for me to clear out the garage a little and I would like to sell my Raleigh Quasar so I thought I'd sign up here for a little advice if possible.

The trouble is I have no idea what it's worth, I have heard of ads for them in the past for around £130 - £170 but don't know what condition they were in :? so any advice/ideas (or even offers ) would be greatly appreciated.

Mine is pretty good condition I think with just a few scratches for it's 30 years, and other than two tires a couple of years ago it is totally original (even have the aero water bottle somewhere in the garage).

Looks nice and clean and original

Not many of these around these days, its 'cousin' the Record Sprint sold in hundreds but this never did

Value wise, you're probably there or thereabouts, eBay may be worth a punt unless someone on here (advertise it in Bikes for Sale) is looking for one

Didn't this have a younger brother called the Pulsar? Same colour scheme but with Hi-Ten tubes and really cheap parts.

I lusted after this bike when I was young.

Sadly not old enough or high quality enough to be valuable. Expect £50 on eBay sadly.

Unfortunately I think you may well be right rBoTM Winner looking at the two that were just on eBay
Maybe it's a sign that I should get back on it and enjoy it myself. I rode it a fair bit in the mid '80s, probably only once/twice in the last 25+ years!!
