It was up these with the higher end Raleighs at the time, typical 80's geometry and well made with a decent spec at the time...there are already a couple of these on here

That was a massive bargain if it went for a fiver by the way :shock:

Rare bike that one, think it's was replaced in the '89 range early on by the Thunder Road that used the same frame but had Suntour XCD parts.
Shame I missed that as it's only local to me and for the temmer that would have secured it it would have been a cracker.
