Raleigh Optima team frame project

Early days, but thought I'd start a build thread before she gets a new lick of paint. The frame was labelled up as an optima team frame and still wears the factory undercoat, the Bb threads and seat tube needed some work as they were full of bead blast sand (i think that's what it was anyway!).
It's going to receive a modern drivetrain but the finishing kit will be more sympathetic.

Re:

She now wears black with a silver metal flake. Hard to photograph but i'll give it another go. I got 2 sets of forks painted as I wasn't sure which style to go with. Cant wait to get some clobber on it :)

Re:

It probably wont go down very well, but its going to be a pretty modern build... I have a black NOS Cinelli bar and quill stem, silver chris king, Thomson layback post and San marco Regale saddle. Then its getting a full 10speed Sram Force groupset.. I need to keep up with my riding mates on full carbon moderns!
