Thats what you got with polished steel rims and brake blocks with leather inserts ............. them were the days.

The Mustang was my first MTB.. It was what I got for Christmas in like 1984 or something, meanwhile my mate got a Stumpjumper....

School friend of mine had the SIS flavour Mustang and fitted a T-Bone stem. I was very jealous.

i had the first ones that were sold ie the blue one with forks that came off a tractor...same brakes tho......weighed about 90 pounds

I rode mine on trips down to the Cotswolds over the Summer Holiday's... talk about good training.. 90lbs sounds about right, plus panniers..
