Dynatech ti
I used to be raleigh dealer until the factory folded and they decided to cut out the small businesses and small wholesalers namely the 3rd tier and concentrate on the big shops and 5 star dealerships.I meant the demise of raleigh as we were also Claud Butler and Falcon dealerships and I simply transfered over as an independent but I thought this savage reappraisal would have disastrous consequence for the raleigh brand.Excuse this colourful backgroung to your question but just before this and at the same time as my wife dithed me forcing me into repossession I remember the top top of the range Dynatech 905ti and was privileged to service my neighbour's an MOD architect designing bombproof prisons and barracks.I do not know if I hold any of the price lists as many were stolen by my beat man who fed me to the wolves and was determined to ruin my life and destroy my business as well.I have not seen the raleigh lists or price lists for some time,so I will hazard a guess from memory and believe it was purple and grey or silver lugged machine with titanium frame tubes and possibly a mix of reynolds 753 forks and stays. They were very competively priced for the bonded aluminium resin technology although this has been known to dry out with age.I think the groupset was campagnolo Athena or veloce but you should know better than I.I cannot remember the price but I would guess between 700 -900 pounds based on the Dynatech Diablo at 560 pounds which was not quite the top of the range MTB and was with rigid forks.Dave Marsh does all the repairs to my vintage Hetchins and Carltons and Ephgraves and used to work at TI Raleigh and employs frame builder Rick Powell from the specialised frame building unit.Another entrepreneur is Cambrige's Raleigh 5 star dealership MD Lloyd Townsend.Bonded frame technology would be very difficult to repair and Dave would be able to advise, and I would be pleased to help with any insurance quote for you and I offer very cheap rates for race preps etc.
Kind Regards
