does anyone recognise what model dyna-tech this is?

Yes, It is one of the later [94 ish] Dyna's - with only two titanium tubes [top tube and down tube] The rest is cromo.

The frame is quite heavy on this model [over 5lbs] I have an old review in MBUK.

Personaly I like the earlier ones much better.
