Raleigh Bomber (unrestored & restored?)

Hi all, ive come into ownership of Raleigh Bomber 6 months ago (swapped for some parts then noticed it at the back of the shed so I made a cheeky £20 offer). I now own it and thinking of what to do with it. Now I have to admit i have absolutely no knowledge of Raleigh Bombers other than their wacky appeal to people. Anyone able to guide me on what its worth when just left as is (cleaned up) vs. if a i strip and fully restore it (repaint / rechrome)? Give me an idea of whether to invest big time in it or keep its battle scars? anyone know its year of manufacture? PS, any links to raleigh bomber catalogues welcome to so i can see how orginal or un original it is?

Resurrecting this old thread! Have you still got the Bomber?
I’ve recently acquired one and am after parts.
