Read about it earlier in the week, was a bit worried that luddites like me may have been passed by format-wise but turns out that the CD version comes out 9 days later <sigh of relief>. As with In Rainbows, looks like they've managed to pull off a release with virtually zero build-up. Last time around they just popped something on their website along the lines of "oh, by the way, we've got a new record out in a couple of days"

Actually, I misread that - well over a month to wait for it to come out on disc as it's 28th March not Feb; download is out this Saturday.
Rumour has it that one reason for Radiohead carrying on with CD releases as well as download is that Thom Yorke likes the novelty of seeing the band's stuff on sale in his local Sainsbury's! Forget where I read that (either Q or NME) but it was mentioned somewhere when In Rainbows came out in "hard copy" format.
