raceface shoulder holder?

Yes, I remember them - I originally had one on my Rocky Mountain Blizzard.

The saddle was made by Vetta I think, but the little "shoulder holder" pad
(which was moulded from high density foam) was branded as Race Face and was just glued in place under the nose of the saddle. Somewhere on this site there is a PDF of a RM brochure of the right period - you'll be able to see them on there I imagine.
Unfortunately I took mine off and it probably got binned...

thanks andy r, you got the one. im not talking about the crappy tool/pump/sandwich bags that were popular with 12 year olds. will look in the archive.......

indeed, all through the 1993 catalogue. it makes sense now, as i think raceface were owned/started by rm as a high end finishing kit brand.

Are you referring to the Rocky Mountain shoulder holder saddle?

I own one. it came off my original RM Experience, which I no longer have. But the saddle is currently mounted on my "spare" bike. It also came with the Cirrus and Stratos, and some other models. I don't recall any Race Face branding on it.

If you need a pic, let me know and I'll take one.

Hi, finally found a chance to take a pic. Here's the saddle I have. Looking at the old RM catalogues, this saddle was on the RMs a year prior to the Race Face saddles you are referring to.
