Quick release my arse.

I'm getting accustomed to my new maguras, although it seems impossible to just whip the wheel off like you can with V's.

Is there a little catch or something I'm missing, to easily loosen the brakes to take the wheel off, like you would by unhitching a cable on V's. At the moment I'm letting the tyre down every time I want the wheel off?

Just realised, with a slip in punctuation that title could read very different! (Quick... Release my arse)

Cheers

You do have a quick release on there dont you? Flip the lever take one half of the caliper and remove wheel? :?

And the sex wax avatar, doesn't look good does it

Nice one Kaiser!

Yeah the QR isn't the problem (misleading title maybe), it's the fact that the tyre wont get past the brake pads without letting it down or unbolting a caliper... Just seems a bit long winded compared to the 'no tools, cable unhitch' of a V.

No booster as yet... I feel like maybe I'm just being thick and that's the way it is.

Have a look,

You seem to be missing the QR part of it. The part that goes on to the boss looks the same as my later version. Do you have the part that screws into the boss that looks a bit like an egg timer? Neilll seems to be a bit of an expert on these brakes.

Ah, no I don't have any spares, this is how they came....

Hmmm, hunt for the elusive egg timer begins.

I'll try Neill,

Thanks
Nice one.
