The kids wanted something to tinker with, so sourced this Puch Pursuit locally for a very reasonable sum.
The idea being to let Daisy have some spanner time stripping it down and doing some cleaning and servicing……seeing what we came out with.

Came apart easily and decided between us of a budget for the job.

Went over the frame with wd40 and 000 wire wool then with some meguiars compound and polish…..very nice shade of green, really pops.

We stripped the brakes down and gave them wire wool treatment.
Same with the cranks, removed rusty chain guard and went over crank arms.

Found an old ITM stem and Raleigh drops to replace the risers it came with.

Sourced a shimano 600 rear mech at a steal, and replaced the cable guides with shimano chrome items.

An unwanted pair of mks ar2’s were donated and fitted with Christophe clips and straps.
