i have another pair of p2s but im wondiring if they are p2s, they came on my 94 cindercone, they are threaded 1 1/8" but are shorter the my other p2s thay look just like p2s but have "spinner.joi" stamped on the drop outs. are they just an early version?

They sound to me like the none suspension corrected earlier P2's - which I believe would make sense on a 94 cindercone. Anthony is the guy to ask. He'll definetly know the history. I think all P2's have spinner printed on them somewhere. They will defintely be P2's.

thats good i thought they were but couldent be sure when compairing them with other p2s, the dropout is a different shape too.

They should be about an inch shorter than the 41cm ones used from 94 onwards and they are what the 88-93 frames were designed for. Mixing frame/fork isn't a disaster either way, but early Konas only had 70.5 degree head angles anyway so a 41cm P2 isn't going to give such good handling on an early frame as the shorter one that you've got. If you have a 94 or later frame, that fork will give you a lower front end and sharper handling than the designer intended, which you may or may not like.

thats good to know, thanks! im running a set of SIDs at the mo but wanted some ahead p2s for spare as the sid are locked out most of the time.
