Proflex Offroad 353

Retrobike Rider
Red Proflex 353 ('93) frameset - which incidentally in the period catalogues show as a hybrid, yet I believe this frame to be identical to the 752(3) that First Flight have in their museum (That's the first image and is NOT for sale here) - if anyone has any further info, please add your thoughts to the thread!

Alcoa (?) aluminium, lots of tough looking gussetry, candy flecked paint (passable but not in the greatest order - my idea was to polish it up like First Flight's), no dints or dings, sound bearings. 22 1/2" top tube, seat clamp, Ritchey headset races and, importantly, comes with a long length of spare fresh elastomer!

To sell at £70 including postage - UK only.

Neil

PS. Prefer Paypal'ers to 'Dibbers'....

If so, give us a few days to check finances as I have dentist this week, which may cost a kidney on ebay!!

Stats

If you prefer a longer top tube and a shorter stem - say a 100mm - then I would think you would have a stable handling bike, if not that sharp in the technical terrain.

I have never built and ridden the frame so cannot advise much further...
