Proflex 955 - Large (tbc) - May split - Pauls etc

I posted this up on the 'How much thread' so apologies to those who have read that.

Right this has to go - i'd much prefer to sell it whole as most of the parts are original. Funds are priority so i would consider splitting it i can get most parts rehomed. As i have to put a price on i was thinking £300 then plus delivery which tbh i would rather arrange to meet a buyer somewhere mutually acceptable than posting it.

Although if i get enough i want a/b/c parts requests than i will dismantle, any pics requested of specific parts will be as mounted on the bike at the moment though.

Spec filled in to the generic sheet:-

Frame: 1995 Proflex 955 (Large or Way Big - it fits me at 6'1 – Proflex sizing is a little odd)
No cracks that i have found, laquer is bit peely and there is a ding in the TT but it's not affetcted it struturally. Replacement elastomers from a forum member.

Fork: Girvin Vector 2 - replacement elastomers

Headset: Chris King 1.125 (Original)
Stem: Vector 2 - integral part of fork system
Handlebar: Sunn Brute
Grips: Gripshift
Barends: No name aluminium things

Brakes: Pauls Stoplight Cantis
Brake Pads: Fibrax
Brake Cables: Modern XT level
Cantilever cable hangers:
Brake Levers: Pauls Love

Shifters: X-Rays (uncracked)
Front Derailleur: XTR M901 tbc
Rear Derailleur: XTR M910
Derailleur Cables: Modern XT level
Cassette: XTR 8 speed
Chain: Sram
Cranks: Toplines (uncracked but scuffed/scratched)
Crank Bolts: Middleburn? self extracting
Chainrings: Sugino outer - not sure of middle & inner
Chainring bolts: Yes
Bottom Bracket: Action Tec, Titanium Spindle - <100 mile old bearings
Pedals: M747

Hub Skewers: Red Trans-X or similar
Rims: Front - destickered Mavic? Rear – FIR Artax
Hubs: XT M737
Nipples: Yes
Spokes: PG front & DB rear
Tyres: Ritchey 2.1 Folders (will check later - note not the Maxxis tyres pictured)
Tubes: Yes

Saddle: Flite Transalp
Seatpost: Ritchey WCS
Seatpost Binder: Simple bolt up jobbie

Weight: Never weighed it

Hope you sell it complete - seems a lovely bike. Shame to split.

That said I'd be interested in the bars pending closer pics/price if you did split.

Fenton - if it does split did you want the levers, hangers & cantis? Also tbh I don't know the going market rate for these though?? (I'll put you first inline for them)

Coomber - bars were NOS before this build and i still have the original albiet battered box for them. The only marks on them would be from fitting controls. Was thinking £15 posted. If i do go the split route i send you pics.

I've put a price on the whole thing as i want to sell it whole preferably.
Hence i've not priced seperate items on this basis but if i do have to split i will start a new thread with pics and prices (which i asked for on the x,y,z, thread yesterday) on the FS forum.
Please feel free to PM me with guide prices for items on the basis i need to move on bits quick rapidly but don't want to woefully under/overprice stuff.
