powered bikes!

It was me talking about having one. I like the idea of doing a camp jockey impersonation as I overtake a roadie up a hill.

I'm not sure how they can only offer a 90 day warranty on their engine though. Surely everything new is guaruanteed for a year?

they must know everybody who gets one is lazy and wont know about running the engine in

i love the old motor bikes that were just an engine on a bicycle and i keep thinking of making one but surely to get around tax and mot etc they have to be such a low power you might as well not have the weight of the engine and fuel and just pedal . if you want a motor on a bike get a cheap scooter and do it properly

I must say, I'd rather it was an electric bike than a petrol one. I don't want to have anything noisy, it would spoil the effect.
They keep getting better and cheaper, if one comes along that is reasonable I might have a punt.

and theres having to go to the petrol station and queuing up with the people in their metal boxes . kinda defeats the freedom aspect a bit

i used to sell those powabikes . they are unbelievably heavy , i certainly wouldnt like to pedal one
