Hite Rite

And it was a stupid thing that 99% of the time was easier just to stop, or if you did try to fiddle with it back there it inevitably messed up and you needed to stop anyway

Looked great on my proflex 550 , they all laughed when the York cycleworks lot took it in px for a trek 8700..... wish I'd kept them tyres now!

Re:

Bar-Ends were de rigueur at that time, short, stubby, L-bend, "Ski", or full wrap-around (like the Scott AT-4's), almost every bike had them.

Mid 90s you must have had a chain tensioner. For downhill

This was my "downhill"-bike back then. Cos it has a tensioner and a boingyfork. Obviously.

0° 150mm stem - must have.
Shortened straight bars of course.
Wierdo figurehead.
And - most important - Stickers. As many as you could get. Not a single onza part in your possesson? Just put their sticker on. No Oakley sunglasses? Doesn't matter. Sticker!

CNC madness!

My Proshift stuff (admittedly a little later but still madness)
