It doesn't look like I'll be racing this year, and this bike is too nice to have sitting around doing nothing...

I built this at the end of last season, raced it once and went for a handful of fun rides on it. It's in excellent condition apart from some heel rub and some cosmetic damage to one of the shifters, which was sustained when they were on another bike.

You could go on Planet X and get one of these with clunky SRAM Apex, BB7s and bog standard wheels for a grand. Or, for the same money you could have a barely used frame with all this:

XLS frameset size 54 (53.5cm top tube, full geo here: http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/CBPXXLSAPE ... cross-bike)

105 shifters
Ultegra rear mech
CX70 top pull front mech
CX70 cranks
Dura Ace 9000 bottom bracket
FSA cartridge headset
Stans Iron Cross rims handbuilt on XT hubs (latest version), set up tubeless with Vittoria XG Pro tyres
TRP Spyre disc brakes w/braided outers
SLX rotors

Yes, I'm only asking £1000 for a quick sale. I'd prefer to sell in person if possible - I live North of Bristol and can meet within a reasonable distance.

Re:

I race one of these and am just under 5'9 and 54cm is perfect.

My specialized road bike is a 52cm and exact same top tube length and (almost) same standover.

I deliberated for ages over size but 54cm is Planet X medium and I'm am so so glad I didn't go smaller as there's a huge step down in top tube length.

Hope this helps anyone looking and good luck bump!

Lovely bike and great build spec on this one!
