Hey so Picked up my Kona Lava dome 1994 the other night!
I bought this bike brand new in 1994 from Canada, then sold it to a friend who used it for 2 years and has been in the garage for about 10 year locked up and never seen the light of day! incredible!
It is mostly original has original tyres- drive a, drive B still useable!! weird, and was fitted with Judy xc forks which were used for about 2 months, ( which work fantastically!!!) they are a blue colour though, deffo not reprayed as i remember him buying them?? special edition?? who knows...
So quite weird really seeing it again! stripped it all down and re greasing etc everything, unfortunately it was stored dirty, but all cleans up brilliatly if a little hard work!
I took a picture of it before and will do an after aswell!!
