WD, in the UK, we tend to buy pick-ups that have 4 wheel drive.
And the Ford F-150 has already been reviewed in the UK by a certain "Mr. Clarkson"
and he was less than impressed...

I was just about to buy one of these before I was made redundant...
and my Range Rover Pick-up is still in the scrappy (mine was white and set-up for Fenland hare coursing)

As for the ride, the technique I use for anything with leaf springs, is put as much weight as you can in the back safely and charge up and down some speed bumps - worked on the first Navara we had as well as the L200. It goes a long way to stopping the puke inducing unladen bounce too.....
