Phillips Military Roadster

I'm restoring a 1939 Phillips Military roadster. The problem at the moment is the rear wheel or rather the freewheel. Its badly worn and needed to come off to fit a new drive side spoke.
Anyhow, the freewheel is stamped DELITE MADE IN FRANCE and the hub is stamped MW FRANCE E90.

I'm assuming this means its a french thread and I have almost no chance of getting a new freewheel for it?

If you're willing to pay postage from France (and find a seller who's willing to post overseas) there tend to be a few different French freewheels on eBay.fr at any given time:

Of course you run the risk of getting a BSC-threaded model by mistake, but if you stick to the older models you're probably safe enough.

Thats fantastic Jim! I found on on there for just 8 Euros. I don't know why but I never even thought about looking on Ebay France, I just assumed they would be almost unobtainable!
