This wheel would look so cool on the back of our tandem (140 mm Phil Wood hub). Currently have a Shimano HF08 laced to a Velocity.

I inputted a weight of 6kg, to be safe, and dimensions of 60x60x16 cm (std wheelbox), and their calculator came up with £53!

Does seem strange that he should limit his sales possibilities for such a high value, yet niche, item.

You all are great. Thanks for the information. I will see if the seller will bite. As stated 140mm is a niche market for a rear hub and by the looks of things the seller needs another bidder. Either that or there a a few waiting until the last moment. Our Tandem by the way is a 1990 Rodriguez AL26 I bought new. Currently converted from Mtn. duty to Road with the addition of slicks and drop bars. Built up a new wheel a couple of years ago. Really only a few makers that even carry 140mm for tandems anymore. Still love this vintage ride. I will try to find a photo and post.
