Which bit? The seized seatpost, the rusted chain, the split tyres or the knackered parts? The seller is a 'bike workshop' and if they can't be bothered to spend any time or money on putting that in order at trade prices then everyone else should think twice too.

That sort of bike should be a karma give away, not a £70 heap.

EDIT: seatpost is not seized, just rusted and worn to buggery

Needs many man hours and many £s spent on it. A mint one would go for about the same price as this is starting at.

I had a very similar version of that bike - The Black Mamba

Full LX, 531 tube set.

Picked it up in mint condition for £20 in exeter. Only thing that had been changed were the tyres!

£70 start.....madness

I've found worse at the tip and made it presentable - all depends on how far you want to go.

Frame quality isnt the best, rear canti cable stop is unattractive along with the overall finish

Yep I like the Peugeot graphics and paint etc. My other half has a Peugeot hybrid from the same era and its a decent bike.
