Tong, grew up with him and his tunes. His voice now just brings back so many memories.

remember the first few essential selections.iirc westwoods rap shows very similar. aint listened to the radio since i left building sites so am well outta touch with modern tunes........luckily lol

may have the tapes hidden,used to record them every week. do tapes have a shelf life??? :?

I remember listening to the very first Essential Selection, in my mates house, and then recording it on cassette every week thereafter... I used to play it back on my walkman, whilst cycling, on and off road.. :shock: :shock:

Scary when I think back...

Before he did the Essential selection, I used to listen to Pete doing the Hip-hop connection too...

Top stuff, and great DJ and a thoroughly nice bloke too, I hear..
