Paul's Moon Unit cable clamp

Just won a pair of Paul's Moon Units off ebay. They are missing the cable clamp, any idea what is required? Or do I need the pukka Paul's clamps?

I've got some green uns. the pauls 1s use a bolt with a hole vertically through it for the main brake vertical cable. its hollow & threaded, the bottle cage size bolt that threads into the main body pinches against the cable & holds it tight. should be able to replace the main hollow bolt with a old dia compe type bolt, fit a few tiny washers & a simple nut. tho it wont look as clean as the normal pauls 1s

anyhow i'm not 100% clear on your explanation scant. Should the cable clamp bolt thread into the moon unit itself? Or be secured by a nut?
