Copies. Was looking at some 5DEV cranks for my modern MTB the other day, then saw the "same" ones on AliExpress for 1/10th the price. Bargain! Or not.
I don't know how they're getting away with the authentic looking Paul packaging etc though, maybe they just ship in a plastic bag?
Nothing is sacred anymore ...
