Monty Zoomer

Dirt Disciple
Hi I'm rebuilding my Proflex Beast and I'm in need of a few parts

the bike is a 1997 Proflex Beast GDT, the one with chrome Girvins, yellow coil springs and ODS shocks front and rear
spec as per this link
http://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/Bike ... &Type=bike

I especially need
Girvin AL Fork
RH and LH rear pivot axles, bearings / bushes and O rings.
8 speed SRT-600 gripshifts and a RH (rear ) Magura HS11 brake (red) with the lever.

Plus other original spec parts if in very good condition,
such as bars, handlebar extensions, wheels, etc

Hi mate,

one shop in south of Poland has got this one. If you are interested I can help in all the arrangements. Buy It Now price is about 200 quid (without shipping costs)

Cheers,
Martin

No thanks, I'm after parts not a full bike,
would they consider breaking it for spares ?

Mine too (except for the elastomers ) but at the moment it's in a box in bits !!

Somewhere I got a large photo of my beast in action on a early downhill race... Think I had put some different forks on by then but still the elastomer rear end!!

I am not very sure. From time to time they have some interesting bits or whole bikes, but they rather tend to build and sell bikes out of the parts they have on stock - in result some bikes are not 100% proper in terms of original spec.
I have just bought Tioga DiskDrive from them and few monts earlier Paul CrossTop brakes for 5 quid (they were not sure about the brand as there was just some strange looking "P" sticker on them - so couldn't be anything serious like shimano...)

Cheers,

It seems my bike is a 97 Beast GDT as it came with yellow coil springs from new, same spec as the one in the image on the link, the 96 had the elastomers, and the Mag brakes are the HS11 with race line levers.
see link below for full spec
