Parkpre Pro Image - First test ride

Parkpre Pro Image restoration latest report:

Been fettling all morning, cleaned wheels, fitted tyres, deraileurs, brakes, grip, bar ends, shifters, chain and cables. Tuned it up a bit then went for the first test ride, blew my mind, it's so fast and very light - it's gonna be extra special when it's finished. Just got to clean it up a bit then apply the decals. Rain stopped play

Looking good, although unsure about the red middle ring, unless your going for red decals or other red trick bits.

Staying rigid?

The forks are the original rigid PFR cro-mo ones, I have some Judy SL's to fit when required. These bikes originally came with several fork options - rigid through to Judy SL's with many options between. You chose the frame, group set and fork then the distributor built it up for you. When I bought the bike I went for the rigid forks & Manitou 4's.

Classy! I do agree it would look better without the red bits though...
