Hi,

In norway here where they only have the last hour of Paris - Roubaix on tv  . I'm so annoyed. Lets be honoust, the best of all the cycling classics.
Might go for a ride myself instead. See if I can find some cobbles around Oslo.

Its the same here in the US. Sucks! I like Flanders more, similar race better fans.

Hopefully the highlights on Eurosport later tonight will show the best of the race........but yes, a big disappointment

Because the early part of the race was so fast there was only about 20-25 mins of actual racing. The rest was filling in time afterwards.

Best man won though!

Thanks for the link Shamus.
Just ended up seeing the last hour. Indeed, best man won.
Still my favourite road race of the year. Love it.
Can't wait to ride it myself in June. Bought myself some wider tires (25mm) and am still looking for a new seat. The modern flite is too hard. Any suggestions? It has to be available in yellow.

There was an inevitbility about that result - Cancellara looked spent 10 k out , and couldnt ride away from Boonen when he put the effort in. Watching I just got the feeling that the others had "lead legs" when they were in the velodrome.

As for saddle recommendations - I'd use one of these on that Pavee!

The advice on British Eurosport was to hammer over them in a big gear - I wish!

Hammering, that's great advice. Only problem being that I only manage on the first 3 pavees. That's from experience. Still, it's always an experience though. :)
