ParcelForce - A good story (which is a rarity!)

I just thought I'd share my recent experience with ParcelForce, just in case anyone was thinking of sending a bike or some bike parts abroad.

I recently sold a rear wheel to t-stoff, who lives over in Portugal. I booked the collection on www.parcel2go.com , and chose ParcelForce as it was by far and away the cheapest 'relatively quick' option, at £20.00.

The parcel was collected from my work address on Friday (11th May), and I received a PM this morning (Monday 14th May), to say that it had arrived safe and sound.

Well, I'll definitely be using them for anything which needs sending abroad from now on.

TNT are still my number one choice for bikes and bigger items in the UK though

got to agree with that! only dealt with them twice and both times they fecked-up!

They also charge the same for Scottish Islands too, whereas many couriers seem to not post too.

I wonder, the instances of people receiving questionable service from parcel force is because of local organisation and feckwits who are employed, but are in fact incompetent, whereas other parts of country can only but praise the business, because those areas are staffed by people who can actually do what they are paid to do.

Unfortunately, it only takes one knuckle-dragging halfwit to mess something up for the whole process to come crashing down around his a**e.
