Paisley Freight

I use them all the time, they are my 'go to' service.

I think a lot of the experience with any of these brokers depends on who handles their local collection and delivery.

I guess I have been lucky. Hundreds of times! :)

It's weird isn't it.

I booked a collection last Monday - no show.

Re-booked it for today, no show..

one single phone line that's always engaged and the only way to communicate is via email,

seems a little backward when you have the likes of Interparcel and parcel2go, etc...

same experience as you steve unfortuneatly

then I used senditnow.com..comes the day I want it, next day delivery and for about £15

and being part of parcelforce they at least have a customer support team if there is issues which unlike paisley who sounded like two people working out of a portacabin

Did they actually turn up in the end??

Understandably after two failed attempts the buyer of the bike I was selling got impatient so suggested I use send it now

I did and have used them for all my bike sales

So to answer your question... After 2 couldn't be bothered no shows I never used Paisley again

I thought initially they were a courier company.. They are not... They are a subcontracting van service. You contact them and they use man with a van in your area and I think that's why they fail so often

Well it turns out that City link are being used for this, and after an hour and a half of tail-chasing with them (they couldn't find any record at the colecting depot) they still assure me the parcels will be collected tonight, by 9pm, or I should rearrange tomorrow morning, after 8pm.

Kinda hard, cos I'm not in a position to, tomorrow due to being the other end of the country.. . :x :x

So frustrating.. and it's all born out of the 'customer' who has specified Paisley, cos they're cheap..

Personally I always use the other 'third parties' mentioned above.

have used them loads never had an issue , have also tried parcel monkey who are cheaper but booking on internet quite troublesome

IT's so weird how people have differing experiences of different courier companies or third-party agent.. :?

So it's now half eight, and still no sign... :x

They're gonna come now are they... another day wasted. :(

I used them once and they were fine, then once more and they were poor. The attitude of the guy (think it's a one man, back bedroom kind of operation) when I wanted to sort out the second time was really bad, he actually called me a liar outright, so I won't be using them again.
