would be able to tell how old they are, they were still making these in 2003, Palomino's came with them, i don't know which are old/new though by the lettering, what size are they, 2.1 or 2.35?

I'd guess these are later versions as you can still buy some sizes from stock (insert Klein slick tyre joke here):

Are the ones pictured(blk lettering) more current? I have NOS klein deathgrips w/ red lettering in a 2.35 width(looks more like 2.1, lol). Just curious...
