Pair of older 27" rims (or wheels) with 40/32 spoke combo

As per title, looking for a pair of 27 x 1-1/4" rims with 32 and 40 spoke holes.

Preferences are as follows: early is good - 50s or earlier but 60s may be fine. Stainless, chrome or alloy as long as the alloy isn't cracked. Matching pair is preferable. Don't have to be immaculate, they're going to get used so NOS is not suitable. Prefer to not have Weinmann rims because they are for an earlier Brit build. Can take a whole wheelset but I already have a rear hub!

Nothing wrong with Weinmann rims on any post 1950 British lightweight

Have a read here if you haven't already

Nice 32/40 rims are getting hard to find now but if you have deep pockets Hilary Stone usually has something

still well worth going very early to a cycle jumble if you have no luck on here.
worth trying a wanted add. on the CTC as well if you have't already.
Good Luck

It's a 30s frame with mainly early 50s components. I know they were around then but I was keen to find a non Weinmann set.
