Can a Pace stem be used with riser bars?
I have an old set of x-lite risers I want to use with a Pace stem if possible.

got a riser on a syncros 1 piece stem... one that has 2 screws at the bottom to clamp the bar

Pace has wider clamping area than Syncros.

same principle isn't it? pry the clamp out some, pop the bar in and tie it shut.. just don't hope too swap it out soon after

I managed to get some X Lite risers into mine back in the day but it was a heck of a squeeze, had to pry the clamp open a bit and wriggle them in.

i'm sorry but, you wouldn't wear MOM JEANS with a pair of JIMMY CHOOS now would you ?

so DO NOT mix MR CARTERS stem with MR TRIMMELS bars

risers were for the house of syncros and maybee EASTON for the budget
conscious of those amongst us
however something from the ringle emporium or even "answer" ,mr, frank the welder will suffice ,there are those that will say ringle-riser NON dahilng
and they may be right
so for those people i have one word

For sure if you want to snap it. It's a lot more fragile than Syncros.
