Lovely forks these, but the spring stack is the standard one for an 'average' weight rider - in Pace terms between 10 & 12 stone - and I'm about 2 above that
No-one has the harder springs to buy as an upgrade, so I'm having to face facts that as much as I love these forks, I need something a bit firmer.
So.....2003 RC36 Stealths. Non-lockout version, really nice condition, decals intact, few small paint chips on the cast dropouts. Serviced, greased and damper oil changed regularly. Maybe could do with new seals before winter comes (from Tim at Fork English) but they work fine atm.
About 190mm steerer, 1 1/8", with a star nut fitted. Standard disc mounts - Canti/V-brake studs can be fitted, but it doesn't have any on it. 100mm travel, but can be changed for 80mm with a fiddle of the spring stack.
Looking for something comparably nice/cool as a swap that would suit my Ti Softail, and my bifferish weight
and the bike they are on and the new forks will be fitted to:
Can take better photos if needed.
