Interested in the rear disk brake adaptor

Hi, currently have 1990's steel framed trek and would like to improve stopping by fitting disk brakes..at the front all I need is a fork with disk fittings but at the rear/...thought the A2Z rear disk adapter might do the trick, if it's still available?
