PACE RC36 EVO 2 FORKS SPINDLE LOCATING..!

hello

I've just got some RC36's and although they are lovely, the recess in the bottom of the fork for the QR spindle is at slightly different heights, not a major issue when you bolt the wheel up but at around 5mm I thought this feels wrong. Each fork cannot be moved up or down as the 2 bridges on the leg dictate the fixed height and as such it can only be moved up or down together... Is this right?

Thanks
Owen

5 mm sounds too much.
If you fit the wheel, is it over to one side.

Get a steel rule and start measuring, sounds like something as moved.

Not exactly. I seem to recall that if you bolted up the braces you could achieve the legs being at slightly different heights as you've described. What you could do is to undo the bolts on the braces, fit your wheel then do up the qr. This should centre the wheel and in theory they should also be at the same height and you can tighten the brace bolts.
